Verse 1

Before Josiah was a king, (was a king,) no king gave God control. (God control.)  He turned to God with all his might, (all his might,) with all his heart and soul. (heart and soul.)

 

 

 

Verse 2

Josiah was just eight years old, (eight years old,) when Judah crowned him king. (crowned him King.)  His men repaired the house of God; (house of God;) they worked on ev’rything. (ev’rything.)

 

 

 

Verse 3

One day they found the Book of Law. (Book of Law.) Josiah heard it read. (heard it read.) He cried, “Our fathers disobeyed  (disobeyed) the words that God has said.” (God has said.”)
