Verse 1

Blessed are (Blessed are) all the people, those who know His joyful sound. In His name, they’re rejoicing. In His glory they abound. Strength is theirs for He is righteous, and His people know Him best. Those who wait will be exalted. He will be gracious and call them blessed.

 

 

Verse 2

Blessed are (Blessed are) all the children when their father’s love is there. Blest they are when their mother shows them how to bow in prayer. They will know their father’s teaching and their mother’s daily press. When they see their father praise her, her children rise up and call her blessed.

 

 

Verse 3

Blessed are (Blessed are) all the servants when they watch their Master come. All their lamps always burning, all His servants, ev’ry one. What a joy! The Master tells them, “Come with Me and be my guest.” If He comes at noon or evening. He’ll find us watching and call us blessed.
